Chthons & Archons: Interviews for RENSEP
New RENSEP Journal “Praxis-Knowledge”
We are thrilled to announce that RENSEP has launched its new journal, Praxis-Knowledge. Praxis-Knowledge contributes to the academic study of esotericism through its particular focus on esoteric practices in line with RENSEP’s practice-oriented mission. Its focus is global, praxeological, interdisciplinary, and experience-oriented. Praxis-Knowledge aims to facilitate dialogue, both between scholars, as well as between scholars and practitioners. While Praxis-Knowledge is dedicated to the highest academic standards, one does not necessarily need academic credentials to be published in the journal. Submissions from students, non-affiliated academics, practitioners and scholar-practitioners are welcome. Praxis-Knowledge aims to further the useful co-production of knowledge in the academic study of esoteric practices. We currently publish articles written in English, Italian and French. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process under the aegis of the editorial board and external reviewers, as outlined in our submission guidelines.
We have already published the first paper in our journal, which was authored by the winners of the RENSEP Tandem Paper Prize, Steve Patterson and Jeff Howard, titled “To Reveal the Hidden Kingdom of Eld”. The RENSEP Tandem Paper Prize is awarded to the best paper co-authored by both an academic scholar and an esoteric practitioner on a topic related to esoteric practices.
