    Dear RENSEP Members,

We are excited to announce that, based on the votes we have received, our next Study Group will focus on the Liber Iuratus Honorii (The Sworn Book of Honorius). This grimoire, one of the oldest and most influential in its genre, will build upon our recent exploration of the Ars Notoria.

To kick off this new topic, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Andrea Franchetto, a Ph.D. candidate in the History of Religions. Dr. Franchetto specialises in the conceptualisation and construction of ritual space in European grimoires from the 13th to the 15th century and has been teaching the course “Magic in the European History of Religions: Texts and Traditions” since March 2021. He will honour us with his presence at the inaugural session, which will be held on September 7th at 5 pm BST.

For those who voted for other topics, rest assured that we plan to cover these in upcoming study groups.

    All the best,
    The RENSEP Team
