The RENSEP website provides a platform for communication between researchers from all over the world from different backgrounds and disciplines. It provides a means for a member to interact with others via their profile. A member can manage their own network of friends, have an activity log for each of them, receive notifications, send invitations, share documents privately or in a group.
The RENSEP platform also provides a centralised tool for reflection and debate between researchers. It allows a qualified member to create a “Focus Group” dedicated to a theme or issue related to the scientific study of esoteric practices. Other members may apply for admission to the group or receive an invitation. A Focus Group can be hidden, private or public, depending on the setting selected by its administrator. It allows, among other things, easy sharing of files and documents, as well as easy communication between members.
The site will provide all members with training resources for writing scientific articles. Digital documents and instructional videos will be available to members who wish to contribute to the scientific journal Occult Perspectives.
The ORS platform provides its research members with a system of participatory funding for research projects. Each project will be studied beforehand by the ORS Scientific Committee, which will assess its seriousness, relevance and feasibility. The ORS also has the right and the means to offer a research grant from its own funds.
