Welcome to Praxis-Knowledge, the transdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open access journal of the Research Network for the Study of Esoteric Practices!
Praxis-Knowledge contributes to the academic study of esotericism through its special focus on esoteric practices (please consider RENSEP’s multifactorial working definition). Praxis-Knowledge embodies RENSEP’s mission as its focus is global, transdisciplinary, praxeological, and experience-oriented. Praxis-Knowledge endorses an epistemologically diverse, open-ended yet critical and non-essentialist study of esoteric practices. Praxis-Knowledge transcends boundaries through building bridges between scholars and practitioners, facilitating a generative co-production of knowledge in the academic study of esoteric practices
Praxis-Knowledge is committed to the highest academic standards through a standardised peer-reviewing process, but it does not require academic credentials as a prerequisite for publication. Students, non-affiliated academics, practitioners and scholar-practitioners are encouraged to join established scholars in submitting innovative articles that heighten our understanding of the manifold types of esoteric practices, practice-induced experiences and effects, and esoteric praxis-knowledge.

Praxis-Knowledge does not have seperate issues, but all published articles are numbered consecutively. However, we accept suggestions for special issues. In case you are interested in publishing with Praxis-Knowledge, please contact our managing editor at aaron.french@rensep.org.
